Davis Island Full Home Remodel
Davis Island full home remodel
This project was a complete gut job, removal of several walls to create a modern open-concept warm family home. Updating floors with wood-faux tile transforms the space into a warm but modern feel. Using the same tie throughout most of the house makes the space appear larger and seamless.
Bedrooms were all updated with the wood-faux tile, new closet doors, walls refinished and painted. The second bathroom was updated with all new fixtures, flooring, walls, flooring and lighting.
Older homes in Davis Island tend to be on the smaller side – but that doesn’t mean you have to comprise comfort. We updated the master bathroom to house a large walk-in shower, seat and all.
Pebble tiles on the shower floor is an excellent option to modernize your shower floor. Not only is it soft on the feet but also slip resistant. This is a great way to update your shower! Bathroom remodels are among the more popular remodels being done today by homeowners. And shower inserts are a popular and useful feature. In this remodel we made the shower insert the feature of the shower by using the same pebble tiles as on the shower floor.
After flooring is installed, kitchen cabinets go in in this full home remodel. Classic white shaker cabinets were selected to enhance space and tranquility in this transitional kitchen design. Using an expansive island to house cabinets on both sides significantly increases storage space in this kitchen remodel in South Tampa.
Installing kitchen cabinets is an art to itself, especially in older homes where the walls are not all they should be. But when it’s all said and done, it’s a perfect fit! An updated kitchen is one of the best ways to add value to any home. White kitchens remain the most popular choice among homeowners as it never outdates.
